I'm really excited about a piece of software I discovered yesterday called Kerkythea. As most of you are already aware, I use Sketchup to model my mecha in 3D and anyone that has tried Sketchup before know that it is very limited in rendering options...

As you can see the site has changed it's looks. But that is not all, under the hood it has changed completely. Because of this the website looks a bit empty. The coming days we will try to add the old articles and information back to the site. So don't worry if your article is missing.

 There are a lot of fantasy MMO games avaible, there are only a few that include mecha and even less are free. Time to have a look at Exteel.

Exteel is a MMOFPS, or rather third-person shooter, as you can't switch into first-person view at all. Brightly coloured and futuristic, it supports up to sixteen players at a time within an overall MMO framework that includes customisable mechanaughts and special skills. Melee, ranged and AoE combat are all effective, but it lacks the twitch-response you find in dedicated FPS games.

As you mechafans might already know, a new Gundam series will air in Octobre. Saturday the 6th at 6.00 p.m. this new series will premiere on MBS/TBS taking up the timeslot that was previously taken by the Gundam SEED and SEED Destiny series. 

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn is an upcoming serial novel by famous Japanese author Harutoshi Fukui. Character and mechanical designs will be provided by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko and Hajime Katoki, respectively.
