I'm by no means new to building models, but had never dived into a Gundam kit until now!
On my recent trip to
After examining the interesting artwork on the box I could see this was one cool mecha and I couldn’t wait to put it together. On opening the box I was pleased to see various coloured plastic sprues and stickers to make up the mecha with along with a small instruction booklet.

I was easily able to twist the various parts from the sprues and cleaned off the mould lines (which were not too bad at all!) with a hobby knife. I soon discovered that this model was designed to be put together without glue, this was a nice touch and meant no mess!
Working my way through the instructions I came to the joints in the shoulders/neck/hips and discovered they they are rubberized ball/socket joints which mean this kit was poseable! (for 500 Yen I wish I had bought more!)
All this pieces fitted together nicely and I was left only too adhere the metallic stickers which really finished this mecha off nicely.

This is a great little kit which I can barely believe only cost me £2.50 and has definitely fuelled my interest in Gundam models. For any other beginners, or just someone looking for a nice simple little kit, I cant recommend the 1/144 Blast Impulse Gundam more! Go get one!
